January 2021
Dear Cathedral High School Family,
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the Administration, faculty, and staff, allow me to wish you a happy and hopeful new year.
Throughout the challenges that we have faced, the teachers and students of Cathedral High School continue to surge forward with hope, optimism, and courage. As the first half of the year comes to an end, our students have been engaged in a hybrid model of learning, and I am pleased to announce that over 60% of our students received honor roll status for the first marking period.
The teachers have been innovative, resourceful, and focused in creating lessons for both “in-person” and “remote” students that not only fulfill the curriculum requirements, but that enrich and enhance the learning experience for all students. Teachers are live streaming real time instruction and using all the capabilities of educational technology to be sure that all students are learning and thriving.
College acceptances have started coming in for the Class of 2021 and I am so pleased to announce acceptances to prestigious colleges such as Rice University, Fordham University, and Barnard College. That is only the beginning! I look forward to announcing all the amazing colleges and university acceptances and scholarship amounts in the months to come.
Sincerely,
Ms. Spagnuolo
